OUR APPROACH

OUR STORY
"My journey started in 2011 at Saint Lukes hospital in Kansas City as a Brain Rehab Technician, assisting stroke, Alzheimer's, and dementia patients through a holistic intervention of nutrition, exercise, meditation, and cognitive training. Years later, my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, which further drove my passion in this space. In 2019, while attending the LA Walk to End Alzheimer's, I spoke with countless people who shared my experience of losing a loved one to Alzheimer's and fears that they too would succumb to the fate of losing their memories. I shared my experience witnessing the power of lifestyle and nutritional interventions which sparked a shimmer of hope in their eyes. This led me to pursue my Master's in Neuroscience at Columbia University where I wrote my thesis "Could Personalized Nutrition Reduce Symptoms of Depression by Altering the Gut Microbiome?" and collaborate with the leading experts in Nutritional Psychiatry to create Neurish." - Founder, Chris Wagner
